I miss him
Today was my dad's birthday. He would have been 94 today. I really miss him. He passed away the year before I got married. I so wish he could have met my children. He would have loved them. They would have loved him.

My Dad was just involved in a freak accident-almost hit by a car while mowing in his front yard--I know how precious our relationship is! Thanks for the reminder to be grateful.......

ReplyDeleteHe's so handsome. I miss my dad too. He died on his 89th birthday so I had time with him but it is never enough is it.
ReplyDeleteI lost my dad in 1987 to cancer. He was only 65. He lived to see 10of his 11 grandchildren, but not my youngest son. I often think how much he enjoyed the kids as babies, and what amazing conversations he'd have with them as grownups.
ReplyDeleteLife really is too short. I lost my in-laws in the last few years, as well as a brother. At least I can say I still have my mom, who is 85 and going strong!
