My TO-DO List

Well let's just say that it is longer than my arm. Possibly longer than one of my hubby's arms. He has verrrrrry long arms. Just sayin'

So maybe this is NOT the time to start blogging again. But I couldn't sleep (yet too sleepy to be able to sew),I wanted to enter the Quilt Festival and I do enjoy blogging once I am in the routine.

This is what I'm working with right now;

Do you recognize it?? Origins by Basic Grey & Moda. I was asked to make a scruffily quilt out of this but had a request to make it a bit bigger than it would be if I used a layer cake. Answer to that problem was to buy the FQ bundle and a jelly roll. Now I have enough for TWO scruffily quilts (one the 'standard' size and one a bit bigger), possibly a Modern Irish Chain and I will still have enough left over for yet another project! I could have done the binding a different way but decided to use pieces from the jelly roll to make a pieced binding (there will be plenty of that left over for another project too!).

Has anyone found any great blog posts about Quilt Market?? I've only seen a couple and there are not near the photos and stories as there have been from past markets. I don't think I've seen anything from the Michael Miller booth except for the retro mannequins and I haven't heard what the Moda theme was. Anyway, if you have a link for me please do share.

Okay, I'm going to try to get some sleep. I hope I don't sleep in too late now because I have LOTS to get done! I'm going to have this post late morning so you all will think I am up and being productive. ;)

Praise - for my wonderful hubby. He celebrated a birthday yesterday!

Prayers - for my hubby - that he would continue to grow in his relationship with the Lord, for continued good health, and for healing for his knees (that he has somehow injured).

  6. I took the plunge !
    My first order to Fabric.com.
    I can't believe that they count the order as being $35.00 or more BEFORE the extra discount coupon is subtracted ! Thanks for the heads up ! My order was $37.14, getting me the free shipping, but then became $26.05, thanks to the 30% off coupon in their email ! Wow.......eleven yards of fabric for that price, with free shipping to boot !

    Woo Hoo.........sorry to use your comment section to tell you this, but I couldn't connect with your email.

    THANK YOU !
