I'm working with Moda's Glace right now.Pictures of my work will be added in later on.
Praise - It is FRIDAY! my last day and hour of work, it is snowing!
Prayers - for College Girl to be safe on the road - storm is brewing!

Do you recognize it?? Origins by Basic Grey & Moda. I was asked to make a scruffily quilt out of this but had a request to make it a bit bigger than it would be if I used a layer cake. Answer to that problem was to buy the FQ bundle and a jelly roll. Now I have enough for TWO scruffily quilts (one the 'standard' size and one a bit bigger), possibly a Modern Irish Chain and I will still have enough left over for yet another project! I could have done the binding a different way but decided to use pieces from the jelly roll to make a pieced binding (there will be plenty of that left over for another project too!).http://amyscreativeside.com/2010/10/29/bloggers-quilt-festival-fall-2010/
I named this quilt Nicey Jane Goes to College. This was College Girl's junior year quilt. She asked me to make this one full sized. That was a LOT of fabric to deal with and lots of weight to move around for the stippling done in the center portion. The borders were done with straight lines which then intersected at the corners in a grid pattern.

I'm going to visit College Girl this weekend and see her first apartment! I'll see if I can get better pictures of the quilt 'in action'.

I didn't take any pictures of the sandwiching, basting and quilting but here is the stage I am at now;
This should have gone with College Girl last week but...let's just say, it didn't. Must get back to work.
Praise - Hubby and I signed papers today to close on the property sale (it isn't closed yet though). This whole process started in early March.
Prayers - for a young lady we know who is spending a semester in Israel. She is very sick and has finally gotten some antibiotics. Prayers that she would be on the mend very soon.
