Here is the Scruffily Quilt from MBS done up in Arcadia (held up by my 6'6" son).

and here is the binding;

Not great photos but I will remedy that when the sun is shining. The quilt top still needs to be trimmed and all the threads cut. I will tell you my woes about this quilt when it is finished. Right now the guys are waiting to watch a movie.
Count this as another September finish. WOO HOO!!!
Praise - hubby preached on Sunday and he did such a great job and he seemed more at ease than previous times.
Prayers - for a young girl in Oklahoma by the name of Jamie that has been diagnosed with the Swine flu. She also has pneumonia and her lungs are filling up. She is in ICU. Praying that her lungs would clear up and that she would be healed.

Oh my lovely finish!!!!!!! That binding is great too! Praising for hubby and praying for Jamie, hon!

Oh this Arcadia quilt is so wonderful! I love that fabric line and I love what you've done with it!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, CJ! You finished a lot this month. I'm the "last minute" queen, so don't feel bad. Early or last minute, the quilt is really cute!
ReplyDeleteI think the photos are fine! I also think it puts it in perspective how tall ds is when he can hold the quilt out like that!!!! nice job!
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is wonderful! Great job!
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt...thanks for the great meal ideas!
ReplyDeleteLove this! Did you get this pattern from Amanda Jean (crazy mom quilts)? I have been meaning to make one of these but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Love yours!
